Who is eligible to enroll in benefits?

Regular, full-time employees working 30 hours per week* or more are eligible to enroll in benefits. (Eligibility for nursing and educational staff may differ by location; please contact People Operations with any questions).

 

* To be eligible for full-time employer-paid benefits, employees must work 37.5+ hours per week. Employer-paid benefits are Basic Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, and Time-Off benefit.


 

In addition, the following family members are eligible for coverage:

  • Your legally married spouse/domestic partner

  • Your dependent child(ren) up to age 26

How to enroll in benefits

New hires will have 30 days from your date of hire to complete your benefits enrollment. If you do not enroll within this timeframe, you will not be able to enroll until the next Open Enrollment period, unless you experience a Qualifying Live Event. Benefits elections can be made online through Oracle Self-Service. 

Your benefits start date is the first pay period after 30 days of full-time employment.
